Positive and negative representstions

this video is negatively presenting women. The females in this advert on an number of times in the video, are seen to be vain, selfish, bossy, pushy and much more. As towards the women having mostly seen as men roles in the video anything the women does is just seen as not enough. But towards the end of this video it show how you should dismiss the labels telling you not to hold you back and shine as referring back to panetane being strong and shining.
This advert is representing women negatively as having to edit and change many areas to show that this women can be changed into looking better than she already is.this advert is very effective as to what it shows about modern technology and how to make people believe that, that's the way i should have to look when if fact this women is not even real the way she has been presented.

The target audience

The first advert shows that the multiple people are of women are being pushed down they are seen as bossy or pushy as their gender, being female is know for them to be vain and much more. the video has different social classes the women in the video showing that everyone is different.

The second advert show that the women is being shaped and changed into something that meets the eye of the audience and producers. Also showing that women are being represented into needing to look more beautiful for the modern day and age society.the making of the advert the end products makes the women look like she is a higher class as she is in good shape and has a more model look giving off the look that she is better.

women are represented differently in most adverts both good and badly vice versa towards men also.the men in the first advert is show more better and successful as of women are just vain and pushy.

  1. Great choice for your first advert. Is this how society sees women then? What does Pantene want to associate its product with?

The second video, is it representing women negatively or suggesting that the media represents women inaccurately which has an impact on how people within society think/feel women should be like?
